IAEA assembly urges nuclear-free Mideast
The non-binding resolution received a positive vote Thursday by nearly all Asian, Latin American, African and Islamic nations while Israel was the only one to vote no.
The United States, Canada, Georgia and India abstained.
A resolution in this regard received only 82 yes with 13 abstentions last year as most Arab nations boycotted the vote, saying that amendments in the resolution took the pressure off Israel.
