Florida elections chief found dead in Florida hotel room.
Officials say the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections has died unexpectedly.
Authorities said Tuesday that Phyllis Busansky was found dead in her hotel room in St. Augustine, where she was attending a state supervisor of elections conference.
A St. Johns County Sheriff's Office spokesman says foul play is not suspected. Sgt. Chuck Mulligan says hotel workers entered her room after she did not attend a meeting and couldn't be reached. He said she was found on the floor and her death appears to be natural.
The 72-year-old official was elected last November, defeating former supervisor Buddy Johnson. In a statement released Tuesday, the supervisor's office said Busansky brought "order, focus and vision" to the office. http://www.miamiherald.com/news/florida/AP/story/1109987.html
