Two nuclear submarines crashed into each other in the Atlantic Ocean. How hard would they have to hit each other for the nuclear warheads to go off?
'Sub collision may have nuked marine life'
In a Monday interview with the Press TV, nuclear physicist Frank Barnaby warned of the dire consequences which could result if the warheads aboard submerged.
"If the warheads were exposed to the sea, then the Plutonium and the highly-enriched Uranium in them could go into the water and be absorbed by marine life," warned Barnaby who is the Nuclear Issues Consultant to the Oxford Research Group.
