Hague official guilty of contempt of court
An official at The Hague's International Criminal Court has been convicted of contempt of court for leaking papers allegedly showing the Serbian government's involvement in war crimes.
The United Nations's Yugoslav war crimes court (ICTY) fined its former prosecution spokeswoman, Florence Hartmann, 7,000 euros (£6,170) for disclosing confidential information in a book she authored.
Hartmann was prosecuted for writing about two confidential appeals chamber decisions in a 2007 book she wrote on the ICTY and in a later published article. Her trial was held in June and July this year. More
